MKE's got pictures of their FGFS frame out. Pictured is a proto built for Prolly to test.
One interesting thing is that on the braked version, the cable is run through the steer tube. This allows the front wheel to rotate 360 w/ a brake. In the 80's it took a gyro or a ACS rotor (thanks Leo) to achieve the same thing. Crazy it could be that simple... I'm sure this has been done elsewhere previously but this is the first time I've noticed it.
Nice little sponsor list there. Guess I'll have to read about this one. I'd love to be around for it but I'll be listening to Barry White eating grapes in a hot tub somewhere w/ my better 3/8's. If you can make it to this or the after event I'm certain it won't disappoint.
And I think I was talking to Matty about how rad it'd be to build this wheel up. Chub and a H+.
Doesn't look like it's going to be all that bad...
Medicine for Melancholy
It's got a Saturday Looks Good to Me song playing in the trailer and it's a Strike Anywhere production...
American Justice American dream is this what ' the other half ' means half of our lives dissolved in fear half of our rights they disappear is our apathy so corrosive where does the cycle start hear the sirens screaming out in the distance hold your family close to your heart
So we're the last blog to pick this up but it's too exciting to skip.
Pictures of Charges new FGFS frameset have hit every blog from here to Hong Kong. Tom and Ted have no doubt influenced some of the geometry choices. The fork looks incredibly stout. The fork is notched and the drops are inserted in the tubing. Unicrown w/ very thick drops. Charge always does a clean job with their graphics as well. Placement color and design are best in the industry I'd say. Way better than Volume's playboy Scott Staph style graphics...
enough for now but left 153 out. It used to be that there was only 3-4 really good videos out there. Now there's not a day that passes w/o there being a new one that outdoes the last.
Had a blast riding w/ Aaron the last couple days. Sprints by Clay Sunday night going to be fun.
This might be old news but it's new to me. The Gabe Morford collection is now available. More info here: http://www.offthewallsite.com/2008/12/17/vans-syndicate-x-gabe-morford/
