This one's for Brent. MEGAtaost

Really had no idea that Geekhouse had this kind of hand-built set up. Really love everything I see here.

While on the topic of nice whips,

This is a Tonic Supernaut There's a lot of attention to detail that makes this build incredibly clean. The Tonic icon on the downtube isn't a sticker. It's pieces of unpainted stainless adhered to the frame. Fixed gear's have a clean aesthetic anyway but when the headset is integrated inside the headtube it gets even better. The H+Sons built in to the CHUB's look so good. Thomson seatpost never hurt a build either. Probably not the lightest set-up but a great one none the less...

And here's how Hfwido's handling the big city...

Adios

I've been giving it much thought lately and have I have come to the conclusion that I need to weed some things out of my life right now. I have family responsibilities, work (x2) and other interests that I would like to spend more time with. So, I'm going to be throwing in the blogging towel at the end of this week. So to the 11000+ visitors that stopped by to see what J-Rod and I was posting, thank you.

As for J-Rod, I'm not sure what his plans are. He will be having his first child in a week, so things will be getting hectic for him as well. He has the keys to the building and if he chooses to shut down Tonight We Ride then it's his decision.

* If someone is interested in taking over the blog IF BOTH OF US LEAVES, then hit us up.

So long - Leo

Down Under the Land Down Under

Mash New Zealand Tour Shirt
(Text from Benny Gold for Highsnobiety)
Some of you know that Mash was currently in New Zealand. They asked me to design the tour shirt for the trip like the one I created for the the Texas adventure. The fern leaf is the universal symbol for NZ. I used the same shapes from the shield to create the fern leaves and substituted it for the lighting bolt. The stars and colors come from the New Zealand flag. Have a great trip guys! I wish i could have made it on this trip also.

THIS>>>>

I know you're going to love this. It's shot beautifully. There's some crazy high definition variable frame rate magic going on here along side the resurrection of the skid trick...

Live Hurt

BALTANAS, Spain (AP) - Lance Armstrong has broken his collarbone in a crash during a five-day race in Spain.

Astana team leader Johan Bruyneel says on his Twitter feed that it was a clean fracture without complications. He adds that the seven-time Tour de France champion should make a fast recovery.

Armstrong crashed Monday during a pileup in the first stage of the Vuelta of Castilla and Leon race. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The 37-year-old Texan is making a comeback to cycling and is riding with the Astana team as he prepares for another possible shot at a Tour de France title. He had not raced in Spain for five years.

ALSO, A POSSIBLE PLOT BETWEEN RADIO DJ'S AND MOTHER NATURE TO SNUFF OUT CYCLISTS...
NEW YORK (AP) - A flip off his bicycle took "Today" show co-host Matt Lauer off the air Monday with a shoulder injury.

Lauer, 51, was riding his bicycle on Long Island this weekend when a deer jumped into his path. He flipped over the bike's handlebars and was slightly hurt, NBC said.

"Today" show publicist Megan Kopf said Lauer, who was wearing a helmet, separated his shoulder and was scheduled to have surgery Monday.

"He's doing well, and we hope to have him back on `Today' later this week," Kopf said in an e-mail.

Lauer's broadcast partner, Meredith Vieira, joked on the air that Lauer thinks the deer was hired by the competition.

"Matt's banged up with a displaced shoulder, it popped out," she said. "So hopefully he'll be on the mend soon."

Lester Holt filled in as Vieira's co-host Monday.
