This is the tire I removed Sunday right before we rode. I put a new $9.99 special on there and it's down to the threads already.

Dude we gotta get you some kevlar on them tires. We need to do an experiment/ trial to see what's more cost effective- more cheap tires or less, durable tires.. Hmmmmm. I've been skidding on my Michelin Oriums for over a month now with no visible break-through. Just a thought.
Yeah, I've been killing it on a USED Gator Skin for a month 1/2 and still rocking in the free world.

If I could get the Gskins for your price then it'd be a no brainer. Sucks that Aaron just ripped his Gatorskins. We need to find a way to glue that sucker.
