This could be a shot of the new Trek DISTRICT. Or it could just be someones build.
bicycledesign cited the picture as being from Trek World 09. As for a off the shelf ride this thing doesn't look all that bad. Color choices are strong. As for me I'm always going to be a fan of custom build ups. Trek's legal might pull this picture so I'm going to save it rather than linking.
P.S. if anyone knows how I can watch the video of Clay's newscast cameo, LINK ME...

I would like to see it too.
What was it for? Which station?
what channel was it?
What was the story?
I'll call them...
This Charming Man is the one who saw it.
Totally off subject! We need to start playing bike polo, we can use an empty parking lot/ garage. We can make our own mallets with golf clubs shafts and PVC. The only other thing we need is a rubber ball and some cones.
For real lets get this started!
It was on the fox 6, five o'clock news yesterday. Wednesday. The story was about difibrillators being stolen in Homewood, if that helps. Karen Church was the reporter. Anyway, on the bike tip. Has anyone seen the new 09 Schwinn Cutter? Or the new lime green 09 Bianchi Pistas? ALso the Pista Concepts for 09 come in Celeste or White in 09. The 09 Leader track frames look pretty cool too.
@ Ryan - I found 2 croquet sets w/about 5 clubs a piece at an antique mall for about $20 for both.
Schwinn Cutter - All blacked out and cheap enough... Not as nice looking as the Madison.
Conquering myself
Until i see another hurdle approaching
Say we can, say we will
Not just another drop in the ocean
Couldn't find that Lime Green Bianchi.
Love the Pista Concept but it's a pricy bugger to get your hands on.
And thank God someone else is into the new Leader Frames. Are you looking at the 735 TT/TR?
I think that I'm going to post all these bikes in one post. Link me to any sites pictures you may have of upcoming bikes for 09.
As for the Bike Polo, let's make this happen under the bridge w/ Anthony Keidis.
Someone has been listening to Echo and the Bunnymen...Yeh the Leader 735 is the one. Comparable to the Concept. The welds just do not look as clean to me.
The welds on the Leader 09 look better than the ones on the older frames. Still a little rough. It's a serious track frame tho. Probably easier to wheelie with that wheel tucked into the seat tube. So yeah, I'm basically Echo'n what you said.
And unless I got the pure white one, painting would be a must. Not sure about the shark fin on the steer tube either?
Is there going to be some people riding tonight.
Anyone notice that this thing is Belt-Drive? Interesting, but has anyone seen the horrible ad-campaign Trek is attatching to this thing? It's the worst case of misguided catering to our demographic since X-games one when the ramps were painted so thick with neon paint, noone could skate or ride them. "welcome to the district. the fast own the streets and they live [,] don't get caught and don't die.
hang on if you can.
or get back to the 'burbs."
Are you kidding me? Almost as bad as the NIKE x MASH windbreaker sellout.
Treks legal department isnt going to care about this pic; its all over the web. I posted big pics of it from seeing it in person so you can see the belt drive that everyone seems to overlook. whoops, not Matty. my bad. I have everything for polo and us Huntsville guys would love a roadtrip if you can get three or four guys to commit to a sunday. Hit me up if youre interested Jarrod. Schwinn is this generations Huffy and Leader is right behind them. At least look at a FBM, or IRO - if you want aero, go fuji or felt. Friends dont let friends ride leaders.
